Family CHAT® Conversations
Using the CHAT Communication System to create clarity, understanding, and connection within your family.
You care about each other—and still find yourselves having the same conversations over and over again.
Communication within a family can be the most meaningful—and the most misunderstood.
We often assume that the people closest to us should understand us best. Yet each person processes, communicates, and responds differently. Without realizing it, these differences can lead to frustration, disconnection, and repeated patterns that don’t seem to change.
This is where clarity shifts everything.
In a Family CHAT Conversation, each participant completes the CHAT Communication Assessment prior to meeting. During our time together, I confirm the accuracy of each person’s results and guide you through a clear understanding of how each of you communicates—and where miscommunication is happening.
You will see, in real time, why certain conversations break down and how to approach them differently.
This is not about assigning blame or revisiting the past. It’s about understanding what is happening underneath the conversation so you can move forward with more awareness and less friction.
You will leave with a shared language for communication and practical insight you can begin using immediately.

The CHAT Communication methodology is easy to learn, can be implemented right away, and brings results. I have used it successfully both in writing proposals and in speaking to individuals in networking situations (even “remotely” during the Covid-19 pandemic). I have clear evidence it helped me make a sale and achieve better relationships with funders (which led to fundraising results)
